Family Time
A few weekends ago we were able to spend some time with my family while Mike was in town for Britni's first temple trip. We went to Great America in San Jose and just had some plain fun up at my parents.

Two peas in a pod! Axel looks a lot like Mike when he was a babe.

Axel's Party
Axel's party ended up being kind of a flop. The weather dropped about 20 degrees and the mist off the ocean blew in full steam! We still managed to eat and celebrate! I only have a few pictures since I was worrying more about keeping Axel warm and keeping the cupcake tower from blowing away. Happy First Birthday to Axel!
Jerid's Graduation
I don't say it enough, but I have one AWESOME husband. This guy is the bomb diggity in my life, and I mean it! In may, he graduated with his Masters and we are so proud of him! His parents and brother Jon came down from Idaho to celebrate with us. We spent the weekend running around Monterey and the great beaches in our area. So much fun! Axel also started standing up on his own (without holding anything) this weekend. We knew we'd have a walker sooner than later!
At the speed of a bullet...
Life just seems to speed up faster and faster each day! Jerid's finished with school and my little boy is ONE! What a year we've had so far and it's only July! I'm working more these days, so my time with Axel is even more precious. Work is a love hate relationship. I love to be there and I've had some of the most wonderful clients in the last few weeks, but at the same time, I'm always missing my baby. Here's some updated pictures :)
In March, we took a trip it Vegas to celebrate our 10 years of being together. We got to spend some time with Hailey, which was much needed! All in all, it was so much fun! We can't wait to go back! Yay for Vegas!
Axel started crawling at the beginning of April.... we've been moving ever since!
Laura, CJ and Ryen were sealed in the temple in Logan, Utah. Axel and I took a trip to go be a part of their special weekend. We love them so much! Here's a picture Laura and friends :)
While in Utah, we had the chance to stay with Krista and Ryan Dawe and meet sweet little Ashton. They were buds! It was also Easter weekend, so Axel had his first bit of candy!
We love the Dawe family and can't wait to see them again at the end of July!

He's a growin' boy!
My little man went through some quick changes.... from eating his first solids to making new sounds and faces! I love every step of the way! He's getting such a fun personality and is such a little social butterfly. He loves attention from strangers, his mom and dad and from the singers in MoTab that I put on the TV while I'm showering. :)
Happy Halloween!
Our little Ax man was a bat for Halloween! He was so cute and so happy to see all the little rascals running around Trunk or Treat at the church. We had a fun time showing him off! He was our little Milk Bat.
Home for the Holidays
We made it home at the end of October. Just in time to find a new apartment, get things settled and head up to Idaho for Thanksgiving. We loved spending time with Jerid's family and letting Axel get to know everyone.

Finishing up Israel
We had a great time in Israel, but Jerid found a way to finish up his internship from home while getting in a few extra credits on campus in Monterey. We were so glad to be home but so grateful for our experiences in the middle east. Here are a few pictures of the final days.
My cute little Ax went through a redhead phase. What a cute little bum he has!
